A total of 11 acts will be performing at the upstairs rock concert, with acoustic musicians and a variety of performers playing at the more intimate 206 downstairs. The organisers’ aim is to collect musical instruments for street children, as well as to use the proceeds from the admission price, to pay for instruments and tuition. It is hoped that this event will kick-start an ongoing musical programme for street children. The line-up for the two stages (confirmed to date) is: Karen Zoid, Kobus!, Kelvin Declined, Venessa Nolan, New World Inside, Hog Hoggidy Hog, Natalia, Flow, Velve, Simon van Gend and Two Wise Men. All the musicians are donating their services for the night, as are other comedians, magicians and entertainers. Cape Town musician Venessa Nolan initiated the project and is organising the event with Smoke Signals. A novel slant is that the public are encouraged to bring along a (working) musical instrument as a donation in lieu of the door charge, which is a reasonable R40. The Homestead will be the beneficiary of the instruments collected, and will use the 'Mountain of Music' proceeds to obtain instruments and tuition for street children. The Jam & 206, CT - Tuesday 30 April - 8.00pm - Tickets R40 - 11 Bands - Musical instruments for The Homestead. Tickets at an advance booking discounted price of R30 are available at The Sunflower @ 111 Long Street. The Jam Tel. 465 2106 De Villiers Street Cape Town. Conceptualised as a showcase for live South African entertainment (original music) combined with the dynamic new opportunities available in tertiary education, the project aims to educate scholars about South African educational opportunities, culture and music. Now in its second year, the project spent the first school term [2002] visiting KwaZulu Natal and the Western Cape. An enthusiastic reception from learners and educators has led to the Roadshow becoming firmly entrenched in the School Calendar. Grades 11 and 12 are invited to the RFR - an exhibition of participating tertiary educational institutions combined with live music performance. The RFR runs for approximately one hour, usually the last two periods of a school day. The show is introduced and compered by Gregory Vandenberg, who links the various elements of the show, facilitating interaction between colleges and scholars. Spot prizes by BMG and Blunt Magazine are also distributed to encourage participation. The project is completely self-funded, with no cost to scholars or schools. Courage Is the Absence of Fear - Anything you desire is within your reach if only you have the courage to try! In this innovative, dynamic fashion, the RFR aims to show scholars that tertiary education is constantly progressing to keep pace with the changing face of business and employment. There are many new courses and study methods available, which offer qualifications new to South Africa. Examples showcased by our exhibitors include: Sound engineering (at Allenby), Publicity and public relations (at Damelin), Computer programming (at PC training), Advertising (at Vega School of branding), Technical Drawing (Academy of Draughting), Design and styling (at the London International School of Fashion), Personal trainer (at the Exercise Teacher’s Academy), e-commerce and web design (Boston Business College), Business degree (Varsity College) and many more. Can’t make the agonising choice of career? Personality testing is also available (at Perfect Careers). In 2002, the RFR intends to showcase several up-and-coming artistes. The Gauteng shows will feature noted artistes including Tamara Dey, Liesl Graham, Starskii and Pyramid Tongue. The Durban and Cape Town tour featured Kay Vee, currently rising up the national radio charts with her first single Time [Circus Records / Bowline]. Kay spent 2001 touring with Fly, and has recently made the decision to explore her solo career. Her time with the Roadshow was well spent and the reception was warm and enthusiastic. What this effectively means is that the national tune holiday has officially just been extended from 4 to 10 days. With more tunes, cutting edge comedy, theatre and other performances planned for more than a week towards the end of August/September. Many (if not all) of the Pretunia live music venues will be roped into the Premix festival and a full list of participating venues will be available on the website very soon. All the venues will act as independent parties. We are also in negotiations with the parks board to obtain a reasonable one time offer to prospective punters for camping at the Fountains for this entire period. Additionally smaller organizers, plotters, schemers, promoters and purveyors of creative pleasure will be invited to host events during this period. The seed funding will be used to advertise all participating venues and events as well as nudging the smooth edges into something rough and nice. It is hoped that the addition of the PREMIX festival and the inclusion of all the live music venues and events in the greater Pretunia area will vastly increase the impact, scope and social benefit of the festival. The PREMIX festival should also - with a spot of luck - in years to come, grow into a progressive platform for many more laaities with pockets full of resourceful plans. Any interested parties (sic) (Venues, organizers, bands, sponsors, purveyors etc) can contact Misha on 0832582595 or email mailto:premix@oppikoppi.co.za. OppiKoppi will also distribute information such as participating venues etc in the very near future. The new OppiKoppi website is currently under construction and will carry the info as soon as we force it into cyber birth. That was the new business side without further ado then here are the dates for OppiKoppi 2002: PREMIX (The Official Oppikoppi fringe festival) 30 August to 5 September in venues all over Pretoria. PLUNGE (The OppiKoppi Main festival) 6 & 7 September, at Fountains Valley Pretoria, (Incidentally check out the first rough copies of the 2002 campaign at http://www.oppikoppi.co.za) The decision to move the festival one month later was made to ensure slightly warmer weather greets the attendees. The OppiKoppi festival will therefore be the official spring harbinger, welcoming new tunes, new artists and wild dabs of verve laced with conviction. __________________________________________ 2.CHARTS ----------- SA ROCK DIGEST TOP 20 SOUTH AFRICAN ALBUMS OF THE WEEK http://www.sarockdigest.com/charts This week [last week] (highest position) Title - Artist (Label) 1. LET'S ROCK - NEW, RECENT AND UPCOMING RELEASES --------------------------------------------------- SPERGEBIED - BRIXTON MOORD EN ROOF ORKES Every now and then (quite often, actually) I get tired of listening to songs about Nashville, Tennessee, New York, New York, Route 66 and the Vietnam war. Loud applause greets Bruce Springsteen everytime he sings about his Jersey Girl and being Born in the USA. But these (and other) songs mean very little to a born and bred South African like myself. Where are the songs written from the South African perspective about life and living in South Africa? Well, actually there are plenty. A few recent English-speaking (or should that be singing and rapping) artists, like Moodphase 5ive and Syd Kitchen, sing about life as it really is in South Africa, but if you really want songs about Jeffreys Bay, driving through the Karoo, Port St Johns, buying drugs in Stellenbosch and picking up girls from the Strand, listen to the Afrikaans rock poets. There are far too many to name here, but one of the newest Afrikaans rock bands to sing about real life in South Africa are the Brixton Moord en Roof Orkes (Brixton Murder and Robbery Band). To quote their website: "Brixton" here does not refer to the Brixton in London, but to a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. The name of the band refers to a notorious police unit (now disbanded), that was stationed in the suburb. Their website, which is both in English and Afrikaans, has no flash (thankfully), but plenty of info. So many artists seem to think that only the fans with the fastest computers, lastest software and lots of time on their hands can visit their websites. The message they are sending is: "sorry, but you're not cool enough to be a fan of our band". Fortunately BRMO seem to know what their fans want; up-to-date info on new releases and gigs and some history. But I digress... On their debut album 'Spergebied' (Restricted Area) they sing about the dark side of South Africa, based on their own very real experiences. There are songs about living and jolling in Brixton and Melville (Brixton-Dae), the merits of getting drunk on your own (Dronk op jou eie), road rage (err, Road Rage) and a song for those that leave SA for greener pastures (Geen Land). And I love those little soundbites that link the songs: "this is the final call for passengers Barnard, Greef and Bezuidenhout delaying British Airways flight to London..." and "you have no new messages". 'Geraamtes in jou kas' is about the nightmares that are suffered by the soldiers that had to go into the townships to "maintain the peace". "Jy onthou die vure/ en die wiele van 'n Casspir/ en die reuk van brandende rubber/ deur die neus van jou gasmasker". This is not a very cheerful album on the lyrical side, but the music really rocks. So, to mis-quote Syd (Kitchen, not Barrett), this CD is not for sissies, but the brave listener who ventures into this Restricted Area will be rewarded with some very unrestricted Afrikaans Rock. This track also reached number 1 on the UK Cool cuts chart and, 4 weeks later, Goode hit number 1 on the official UK club charts. The track has been played by almost every prominent radio and club DJ around the world and is set to achieve even more success by spreading into the Asian and Australasian markets. The single is expected to achieve the same if not more success in Europe; top 10 singles are anticipated in Holland, Belgium, France, and Germany. ----------------- MODERN TALKING GET UP-CLOSE WITH PAARL MONUMENT South African Modern Talking fans with an eye for detail will love the group's latest album, ‘Victory’, for more than just its quality adult contemporary and pop sounds. The album's cover shot was taken at none other than the Paarl Monument outside Cape Town and is a reminder of the German duo's last visit to this country. It's no surprise to find Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders paying photographic homage to South Africa. Modern Talking has always been popular and the group's previous 10 albums have all performed very well in this country. ‘Victory’ is due for release later this month and one of the album's best songs, ‘Ready For The Victory’ is already the official anthem of the 2002 Formula One season and on its release as a single in Germany, shifted more than 100 000 units just days after it hit retail shelves. The ‘Victory’ album also achieved sales of 150 000 units just two days after it was released to the German market. ------------------- MORE REVIEWS For more reviews of new and recent South African CD releases and re-issues please visit: AMUZINE http://rock.co.za/reviews.htm OPEN RECORD http://www.openrecord.co.za ______________________________________________ 4. CLASSIC ROCK ---------------- SHILOH'S CORNER VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR (Gothic Deliverance) Contrary to fashion, art rock received an injection from the hordes of Valhalla, grotesquely labelled as the Van Der Graaf Generator. The strength of the group lay with the lyrical genius of Peter Hammill and his three octave ability to rip your soul. On Hammond organ Hugh Banton would grind his hellish anthems to the virtuosic drumming of Guy Evans (ex-Misunderstood). Bass guitar featured Keith Ellis (ex-Koobas) while Chris Judge Smith would harmonise and assist on percussion. The group oozed into prominence in 1967 with a debut concert at the Manchester University. It has been said that the students were never the same after that torturous and unforgettable performance. Founder member Chris Judge Smith gave the band its name (from the device that creates static electricity). The early stages of the group had a definite medieval ambience which decisively changed with the departure of Judge Smith. Hammill split shortly after the group formed, but re-joined after much persuasion from Robert Fripp (King Crimson). Their debut album, "Aerosol Grey Machine" could well be regarded as one of the earliest root progressive ventures of the English. Nevertheless Hammill would again leave the group and focus on a solo career. Part 2 of 3 next week Shiloh Noone, Cape Town mailto:shiloh@sarockdigest.com Blues and Variation Fine Music Radio 101.3 FM Wednesdays 10 pm -------------- USA FOR AFRICA Texas-based Kurt Shoemaker gives his unique views on SA music BRIGHT BLUE - EVERY NOW AND THEN - THE BEST SO FAR 1984-2001 Here's what you get: several very good songs, a dozen or more excellent songs, and one Eternal Classic. Along the way: bright, crisp playing, melodies impossible to dislodge from the mind, and socially meaningful lyrics. Music for bright people. The Eternal Classic is, of course, 'Weeping'. This song never ceases to move me, no matter how often I hear it. I play it for my English classes when introducing South Africa before reading the novel 'Cry, the Beloved Country'. An important song that utterly transcends popular music. Other mighty fine songs are 'Window On the World' (also on the excellent two CD compilation, 'SA Top 40 Hits of All Time'), 'Wouldn't Miss It for the World', 'Open Your Eyes', 'The Rising Tide', and 'Peace Train' {Not the Cat Stevens song - ed}. There are other gems on 'Every Now and Then', but these Bright Blue songs play in my head long after the CD ends. Bright Blue's music often refers to the great social changes y'all went through in the 80s and 90s, and unlike most songs of social commentary, these sing optimistically about the future of South Africa. This is not depressing protest music. Bright Blue has made anthems for the rising new age of South Africa. The music accompanying the lyrics is absolutely pleasant, and rocks in places (the closing number, the anti-conscription 'Who Is the Enemy' is one of these). Bright Blue's instrumentation is like folk rock, but it's not, it's African, but it's not -- it's Bright Blue's unique sound. Quibbles? Only one. A few of the songs linger a tad long on the fade. For the rest, the complicated playing, the so-right melodies, the deeper than "Bernasteena, I Love You" lyrics, make the words of the sub-title "The Best So Far" good to hear. While 'Weeping' is a tough act to follow, it's not the only song on the disc. Bright Blue's other fifteen songs on 'The Best So Far' make this a must-have CD. Many of y'all must agree with me. Though 'Every Now and Then' has been out for months, it is still on One World's Top Sellers list, at #2 this week. Bright Blue http://rock.co.za/legends/brightblue Kurt Shoemaker, Blanco, Texas mailto:kurt@sarockdigest.com Buy SA CDs from One World http://www.oneworld.co.za/index.cfm?bec=4321 ------------------ LONDON LEKKER London-based John Samson gives his own twist on SA music ROCKING AGAINST THE SYSTEM - VARIOUS ARTISTS http://rock.co.za/legends/2000plus/rocking.html It is not well known, but during the 1980's a secret movement of elderly folk living in the small towns of South Africa would sit on their verandas slowly swaying to and fro in specially designed chairs. These good intentioned folk hoped that the creaking sound caused by this would be heard in the Union Buildings in Pretoria and result in the government dismantling apartheid. As history has shown, this method of rocking against the system proved ineffectual, mainly because it was never done with any rhythm or tune and certainly lacked any punk attitude. The 80's were heady times in South Africa. Apartheid was at its peak, but looking decidedly wobbly with the Nats being bombarded on all fronts. One of these fronts being the Rock Music scene. African rhythms were leaking out of the townships and onto the white radio stations faster than rands were "leaking" into offshore accounts, and the government couldn't control it. Bands like éVoid, Via Afrika and Bright Blue were mixing these sounds with western rock and producing fascinating results. "Taximan", "Hey Boy" and "Window on the World" are the examples showcased here. Then there was punk. Peach, the Asylum Kids and Tribe after Tribe are the safety pin in the ear of this CD, but this is not just sneering punk with attitude, it also had message. If anyone rocked against the system, these guys and girls did. But don't forget the New Romantics, the lipstick around the hole in the middle of the CD and the weird hairdo round the edge. These come courtesy of the Helicopters' 'Mysteries and Jealousies' and Petit Cheval's 'Magical Touch'. The Dynamics and the Psycho Reptiles give the CD a two-tone (surely not black and white) feel with their Ska sounds on 'Thugs' and 'Monster from the Bog'. All this and I haven't mentioned the rock of Ellamental and the Sweat Band, or the deep voiced Gothic punk of No Friends of Harry. Neither have I touched on the quirky pop of the Spectre's 'Teddy Bear' or the strangely bizarre world of Falling Mirror's 'Johnny calls the Chemist'. Despite the 80's being a politically tense time (or maybe because they were), the local music scene thrived. Although other decades have seen great music coming out of SA, none seemed to produce such a rich crop of fine bands and memorable songs. (Current times, however are looking good too). Benjy Mudie has tapped into this vast vat of 80's classics to bring you 14 of the finest from the decade, but those left in the vat ('Weeping', 'Shadows', 'Give Me The Good News', etc, etc) are testimony to the strength of the music of that era. Just a word of warning, you have to be off your rocker to enjoy this CD. The label "alternative" has become problematic though. Originally it referred to a group of Afrikaans musicians who, in the 1980s, used their music to criticize the apartheid establishment through their satirical lyrics. The most prominent of these artists were Johannes Kerkorrel, André Letoit (later known as Koos Kombuis), and Bernoldus Niemand (pseudonym for James Phillips, one of South Africa's most brilliant rock musicians). This movement opened up the space for young Afrikaans artists to explore a variety of musical styles - including industrial, different styles of techno, rap, jazz, etc. Hence, since the 1990s, the distinction between "mainstream" and "alternative" Afrikaans music has become an arbitrary one. The collapse of the apartheid state has enabled the socially engaged songwriter to explore a new range of exciting topics - hence, the tradition of the "alternative Afrikaans" movement still continues, but in the context of a post-apartheid society - one that is different from the past, but unfortunately also with striking similarities... The Brixton Moord & Roof Orkes attempts to explore some of these themes without losing the sense of humour required to survive in South Africa. South African Rock Legends http://rock.co.za/sarock ___________________________________________ 6.ROCKLINE - FORUM, REQUESTS AND FEEDBACK ------------------------------------------- LISTER COLEMAN There are actually a few ex SA musos living in the US and I am sure a few in the UK. I was especially interested in something I found on your site. Many, many years ago perhaps around '69(?) I attended a rock concert in Jhb called "The Teenage Fair". Actually another band I missed seeing mentioned in the Digest was the Rising Sons, they played as did a bunch of the bigger names. One band just lept out at me, great guitar player and bassist and especially good solid songwriting. I went back to Durbs and told my muso friends all about this band, nobody had heard of them, and I predicted they would get big but they were not heard of again. I still have after all theses years one of their melody's popping into my head. To the best of my memory the name of the band was Hocus, which totally now makes sense to me as it was Mutt Lange's outfit, which would explain the solid production of the songs. Is there any way to verify this, that they played at this concert. Another rock band I remember was the Mad Monks. I suppose your site depends a lot on the recorded medium, if a band did not make a record they have less of a chance of being remembered. I would guess a lot of folks will get missed this way, esp the Durban dudes. There was a guitarist in Dbn, Mervyn Gershanov... incredible but I think he did Top 40 only, circa '69-'70. I used to go watch the Flames practise at the Al Fresco on Hermitage St/Esplanade... my Dad had an office there. My favourite Gtr player in SA the time I left was definitely Johnnie Fourie. There was a bass player in Dbn, Denny Lalouette who was really good. I wonder where they all are now. Regards, Lister Lister Coleman mailto:colemanjl@netzero.net ------------------ FACTORY I was wondering whether you know what happened to that great Cape Town band, Factory, and what happened to their guitarist, Andre Meyer. He was surely one of the greatest around here, does he still play? Factory brought out an album called "Industrial Rock" and were compared as a cross between Van Halen and Crowded House by Alex Jay in the late 80's. Maybe this info is helpful. This band was way ahead of its time, but disappeared without trace. Billed as progressive hard rock, this is one for those who are into discovering the best in new bands that this country has to offer. Friday 26 April The JAM - Cape Town rockers Flowerheads return to The Jam after a long absence. One of Cape Town's most thought-provoking songwriting talents in the rock genre, this is one of the better gigs you’re likely to see this year. Support will be provided by the winners of the first leg of the RP Studios Emerging Sounds band Competition, About Blank, who had the judges waxing lyrical about their performance. 206 - Buckfever Underground return to 206 for another night of their unusual ‘spoken word over eclectic instrumentation’ performances. Accompanied by Quake and Mister Sulu on the decks, this evening should be interesting to say the least. Saturday 27 April The JAM - The RP Studios / Emerging Sounds Band Competition comes around again. Round 2 of the prelims tonight sees Ill System, Froy and Buckfever Underground. This is the ideal opportunity to see new and upcoming South African music. Doors open at 9PM, R10 gets you in. 206 - Featuring tonight are DJs Foam (Breaks / mellow dramatic), Damanie (Nu & Old Skool Breaks) and Charlie Brown (acid jazz / funk). These guys are establishing a vibe on weekends that keep the dance floor grooving till the wee hours. Doors open at 10, R10 gets you in. Tuesday 30 April The Jam & 206 ‘A Mountain Of Music’ benefit concert (for the Homestead and its street children) takes over both venues for the night with a dazzling line-up of SA bands - Kobus!, Karen Zoid, Kelvin Declined and New World Inside, Hog Hoggidy Hog, Velve, Flow - upstairs on the rock stage, and some intriguing new acoustic acts - Simon Van Gend, Two Wise Men, Natalia, and a solo Venessa Nolan, peforming downstairs. Date: Sunday 21st April Time: Doors open at 8:45 pm and Blind are on stage at 10:00 pm. DORP Dorp will be playing South Africa Day (27th April) at the Underworld. They also have a new album out soon. DAVID KRAMER LIVE IN LONDON - TRICYCLE THEATRE 29 JUNE-6 JULY David Kramer on stage is a rare occurrence these days, as he has been involved with writing and directing musicals for the last 12 years. Diane de Beer, writing for a Johannesburg newspaper, described David¹s stage performance in this way: "Kramer on stage is phenomenal. There¹s poetry in his performance and to watch his stage craft is to be taken on a unique South African journey". It is a taste of this unique journey that he will bring to South Africans living in London when he performs at the Tricycle Theatre from the 29th June - 6 July. Not unlike his musicals, the songs he will sing range from "dancing in the aisles numbers" to gut-wrenching and poignant lyrics, describing the South Africa of the past and present. Although he has had two of his musicals, ‘Kat and the Kings’ and ‘Poison’, staged in England, this is the first time that he will be performing on a London stage. Accompanying him from Cape Town will be his long-time band members, Gammie Lakay on lead guitar, Howard Links on bass and Danny Petersen on drums. David Kramer started his career as a singer/songwriter, performing at folk clubs and campus concerts across South Africa in the early 1980¹s, singing satirical songs in English and Afrikaans. He portrayed himself as a rural everyman who travelled the dusty roads of small town South Africa with an old bicycle and a cheap guitar. When he released his first album ‘Bakgat!’ in 1980, it was banned in its entirety by the SABC as it was considered too political and vulgar for the South African ear. Despite receiving no airplay initially, he achieved a very strong response from audiences and by the mid-80's he had been awarded 10 gold and one platinum record for sale of his albums. These are concerts for all the fans who miss hearing that distinctive Kramer sound and interspersed with their favourite songs will be David¹s famous stories about his experience in a blues club in Chicago, Duiwel de Wet, who robbed the bank in Beaufort West and maybe even the Paul Simon story. Contact: The Tricycle Theatre where David Kramer is going to perform has a website [http://www.tricycle.co.uk] - but their programme is only listed up until May, and David is not on it yet. They'll only update next month but booking is now open and can be done by phoning the theatre at: 0207 328 1000 David Kramer’s management: mailto:sweetpea@global.co.za --------------- LOCAL IS LEKKER http://www.local-is-lekker.co.za Your complete guide of live entertainment in Pretoria --------------- MONTY'S PUB AND GRILL 46 Landdros Mare Street, PIETERSBURG Tel:(025) 295 8980 Alternative Dance Parties 18 May - 'Tarrantino Night' theme 22 June - 'The Doors Night' 27 July - 'Saron Gas' party 24 August - 'Peace' party 13 September - 'Friday the 13th' party 26 October - 'Halloween' party 30 November - Masquerade party 31 December - New Year's party --------------- ASHTON NYTE DIRT SENSE ALBUM LAUNCH Tuesday 30 April 9pm The Bassline, Melville R30 There is a saying among fans of Ashton Nyte. They say that there are "lies, damn lies and press-releases." This is best understood, like most things, in its context, namely that the last advertised date for the release of "Dirt Sense" was in September 2001. It was not released then, and considering that Ashton's debut solo album, "The Slender Nudes" was released in 2000, one can understand the agitation of fans wanting more of his brand of singer-songwriter creativity. Well, the time has finally come to make good on rain-cheques and promises. Ashton Nyte will be launching his second solo album, "Dirt Sense", at The Bassline in Melville on the 30th of April. --------------- ROEKELOOS - GIG GUIDE http://www.roekeloos.co.za/musiek.html ----------------- SPLASHY FEN 2002 http://www.splashyfen.co.za The 13th Splashy Fen Music Festival will take place on the farm of the same name, against an exquisite backdrop of the Southern Drakensberg, from April 25 - 28 2002. ------------------ STARSKII 27 Splashy Fen Music Festival 29 Burn, Durban ------------------ SINGING UP A STORME AT CAFÉ BARCELONA Seasoned songwriter and musician Storme will be performing at Café Barcelona in Elardus Park, Pretoria, on Wednesday the 24th of April. Known by many as the lead vocalist of the band Havana Gas, Storme released her self-titled debut CD late last year. Produced in part by Brian O'Shea of Semisane, Watershed and Saron Gas fame, the album recently reached number two on the SA Rock Digest Charts, and the single, "Don't be a Stranger", is currently playlisted on all good stations across Gauteng. The Café Barcelona show will feature a good selection of songs from the album, as well as a myriad of material written since then. Storme enjoys collaborating with Doug Campbell, her music and life partner of many years. "While I enjoy writing on my own, I do find that co-writing often adds spice, turning a good creative idea into an excellent one," Storme adds. Storme will be joined on stage by other acclaimed musicians, including members of Johnny Clegg's rhythm section, Barry Van Zyl (drums) and Concord Nkabinde (bass). A pleasure to behold, these fine artists have performed with Mick Hucknall, Shaun Phillips, Ray Phiri, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and many more. Guitarist Doug Campbell signed with Virgin Records in the UK, where Sting produced three of his songs. He co-wrote the music for the hit movie "Heel against the Head" and collaborated in writing the music score for an international TV series filmed in Europe. The show starts at 8.30 pm, and tickets will be available at the door, for R25.
